The Henderson County Gem and Mineral Society is a nonprofit organization based in Hendersonville, North Carolina. We are dedicated mineral collectors, rockhounds, jewelry makers, gemstone enthusiasts, and workers of the Lapidary Arts. Our Club meets the third Monday of each month (except for December, when we hold our Christmas Party, and January) at Grace Lutheran Church (handicap accessible) located at 1245 6th Ave. West, Hendersonville 28739. Light refreshments and fellowship begins at 6:30PM and the meeting begins at 7:00 PM.

Your membership includes field trips, educational programs, lapidary workshops, and a variety of specialty jewelry classes.    Our members enjoy a mid-summer picnic and holiday dinner, and sponsor an annual Gem and Mineral Show in September.

If you are fascinated by rocks, gems and minerals, enjoy the thrill of finding a unique specimen, wanted to learn how to make beautiful wearables out of precious and semi-precious stones, come by our club meetings and see what we’re all about!
